Day 7 - Tallahassee, Fl, 0 miles, 288 miles total
I had a nice, relaxing day off today, starting with a fruit parfait and English muffin here in the Doubletree's restaurant, Jacob's on the Plaza.
After that I headed to the Tallahassee Auto Museum to see a collection of cars, motorcycles, old outboard motors, antique sewing machines, and on and on and on. This place had thousands and thousands of collectible antiques. It even had a horse-drawn hearse that carried Abraham Lincoln's body. Here are a few of the many photos I took there:

1914 Model T
Abe Lincoln's hearse
1957 Chevy Bel Air
A kit for killing vampires
A sea of antique outboard engines
Antique golf clubs
Later I went to Tallahassee's old state capitol building which is now a museum. It was built in 1845. A new capitol building replaced it in the 1970s and the old one was only spared the wrecker's ball after a huge public protest.

The Governor's private office
The Florida Supreme Court
The House of Representatives
The State Senate
I also went to the top of the new capitol building to get a shot of the downtown area. The new capitol is a 22 story block building that is completely lacking of any charm, as is typical of so many buildings that went up in the 1970s.

This sketchy dude was roaming around the old capitol. I got a photo in case the authorities might be looking for him.
